We are finance 10th batch- entered into the University of Dhaka on 25th march 2004.well as every business school's student is having a dream to get into finance and study here; we were also not apart from that. Therefore, when we entered (being the top 200 among the 21000 applicants) seems we were on the cloud 9.so days were passing on. Expectations matched, sometimes failed. Even then, days went by.
Classes began to start. We found a new arena of studing.totally different from college and school. All the subjects were related with the business world. We begun to learn newer things, started to have our own different perception about the world, about the changing circumstances. Courses were sometimes interesting, sometimes boring, and tough. Grades were sometimes okay, sometimes worst. However, life went on. The great realization was that there were people who used to cry a lot just because of not getting the highest marks in the college exams, but in this department even after getting a bad grade that used to take it normally. Finance has taught us a lot, indeed.
The best part of being in finance is that, everyone from the other faculties used to say we are the best.
Well, here comes the pride possessions of all of us-------friends. As soon as we got into the university, we could choose our friends within a week or more. It was sometimes for group purpose, sometimes just for having a gossip. Finally, a group was formed up. We are two sections. There are friendly fights of course but at the end of the day, we are finance 10th batch.
Finance 10th batch has good number of achievements. Sometimes it was personal sometimes group. bizlink 2005, Project d youth, and HSBC young entrepreneur -everywhere 10th batch has shown extra ordinary performance.
The most important thing is that, whenever there is a time to stand together, we all are under the same umbrella.cos we know that if anything that we can be proud of about being in finance that is our unity -the 1oth batch.
Result, extra curricular activities, banking the classes, good presentation skills, going for picnics,concert,arranging fair for the first time-all are the icons of finance 10th batch.
Therefore, now it is also a great achievement for us to start a sole website named www.finance-10.com.we hope it will work as a bridge between all of us.whevever we will go I believe we all will have a time to click on and see who is becoming a mom, dad, and finally grandpapa, grandmamma.
